Sound Wave Innovation Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that CEO Hiroaki Shimokawa presented and was awarded the Grand Prize at the Japan Healthcare Venture Summit 2025. The event, hosted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW), was held on October 9, 2025, at PACIFICO Yokohama.

The Japan Healthcare Venture Summit serves as a critical platform to deepen understanding among stakeholders regarding current regulations, related systems, and initiatives to support startups. The summit aims to promote matching and networking by allowing healthcare ventures to exhibit and give presentations to key persons from major corporations, financial institutions, and research organizations.

Out of the six companies selected to advance to the final review following a preliminary document screening, Sound Wave Innovation Co., Ltd. was selected for the single Grand Prize winner, alongside two Excellence Awards.

We recognize this award as a strong validation of our innovative medical technology. We are committed to further strengthening our strategy for the social implementation of our medical devices and accelerating the development and widespread adoption of our minimally invasive treatment technologies. Moving forward, Sound Wave Innovation will continue to dedicate itself to developing new treatments and bringing them to market to significantly improve the Quality of Life (QOL) for patients.
