Prof. Shimokawa Presents Novel Ultrasound Therapy for Early Alzheimer’s Disease at the Japan Academy of Neurosonology and Embolus Conference

Prof. Hiroaki Shimokawa, Founder CEO & CMO delivered a key educational lecture on a pioneering treatment for Alzheimer’s disease at the 1st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Neurosonology and Embolus. The inaugural conference was held from June 13-14, 2025.

Prof. Shimokawa’s lecture, titled “Development of Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound Therapy for Early Alzheimer’s Disease,” detailed an advanced medical therapy that harnesses the power of sound waves to activate the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms. This innovative approach represents a promising new frontier in non-invasive treatments for neurodegenerative disorders.

The company also confirmed that it is currently conducting a pivotal confirmatory clinical trial to validate the final efficacy and safety results of this therapy for patients with dementia.
